Welcome to Shenandoah CrossFit! CrossFit is a core strength & conditioning program that delivers a fitness that is by design, broad, general, and inclusive. Elements of track & field, gymnastics, weightlifting, and strongman are combined in short intense daily workouts to maximize results for any individual. CrossFit teaches functional movement patterns, or, movements that you find in real life -pushing, pulling, squatting, jumping, throwing, carrying, and sprinting.
At Shenandoah CrossFit, we believe in the CrossFit philosophy of "constantly varied, high intensity, functional movement." The CrossFit prescription focuses on 10 General Physical Skills: cardio/respiratory endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, agility, balance, coordination, accuracy.
A typical class at Shenandoah CrossFit requires only an hour of your time and will include a warmup, skill or strength work and the WOD (workout of the day). We welcome everyone with open arms. If you're a collegiate athlete, father of two or grandmother of six, we are more than willing to help you reach your fitness goals!
